A recommendation I've been meaning to make since I got back from holiday. If any of you've ever wanted to know about me, about my cultural background and the country I was born in, I don't think I can do any better than recommend this book:

Love Marriage, by V.V. Ganeshananthan. In so many ways, reading the narrator's story was like reading my own, for all that there are differences - this is fiction, after all, except in the ways that it's not. I'm not going to say much more about it, but if any of you do read/have read it, I'd love to hear what you thought.
