i wish i could use the horella i wrote recently (not that it's my best, but i like it wel lenough). xD but since it wasn't with a flashfic theme in mind, i guess it's not fair to just try to find a theme that matches. :) i will see about figuring something out, though.
I know what I was going to ask you. Are there going to be two contest categories, one for flash and one for drabbles? I ask because, let's face it, people tend to view drabbles differently, and I don't think they're going to get a fair cop when put up against the longer pieces.
I'm running it as an open challenge (any length, for any prompt), so I'm not really expecting anyone to write drabbles. If anyone does want to, I guess I could consider two categories, but no-one's raised it so far.

They might if they weren't concerned about running into the thinking that quantity=quality, which crops up even on comms specifically devoted to shorter story forms.
